Kelsey Dalton

Hi! I’m Kelsey. I am the Certified Medical Assistant, and Care Manager as well as a HeartMath Practitioner here at Wellsmart. I am your direct line of contact and love getting to assist in guiding you through your healing journey to ensure you feel well supported. As we all know, the healthcare system can leave us feeling isolated and sometimes left with more questions than we went in with. My goal is to build a connection founded on trust and communication to ensure you never feel that way here.

Through my own health and healing journey with Wellsmart, over the last five years I have been lucky enough to acquire the tools and deep understanding of how our nervous system plays such a large role in our overall health/wellness. Before I found functional medicine, I suffered from PTSD, severe anxiety and depression, ADHD, and a whole laundry list of other diagnoses that took a huge toll on my overall wellbeing and mindset. I understand from a very deep personal level how lost and helpless we can feel just trying to manage and understand what we can do to help ease the mind and body while dealing with these things.

With the help and knowledge I have learned through working here at Wellsmart, I was able to find modalities and treatments that were actually able to help me in a way that medications and talk therapies were not. I went through the HeartMath Interventions Program, as a patient, and had such great success. I just knew I needed to teach other people this gentle, yet effective, way to retrain the nervous system to be able to thrive and not just survive. Through this experience I have also found natural remedies to not only treat my ADHD, but actually begin to see it resolve with time and healing.

All of this to say, I deeply believe that the best guidance we can have is from those that have experienced it themselves, and this is why I enjoy sharing my story and life experiences with our patients so they know that they are not alone and that there is a way through. My hope is that you are able to stumble up the steps of Wellsmart like I did and find a home here to be able to walk proudly out the door at the end of it all.
